Shark boy (1)

Painting of the Day #PaintBritain, Shark boy, Jereme Crow.jpg

Oil on 3 panels, 1278 x 457mm

The Shark boy series Is a reminisce of being young and carefree, a time when we were small and imagination intertwined normality.
The vessel is a symbol of escapism, freedom and independence. I trained and worked as a boat builder, where small sailing dinghies and round the world race Yachts captivated me by their allure of adventure.
Always drawn to the sea I try to get in the water every day of the year and can often be seen splashing along the coastline with a pair of flippers on.
