The Toreador series of paintings are a homage to the magnifence, strength and

beauty of the bull. As the Matador and the bull dance away their story is yet to

 be decided for theirs is a dance of grace and beauty, not violence.

Born in Cumbria, England in 1974. I have never really settled anywhere. Living for a time in Europe and Asia. For the moment I am residing in Kent. I have done a variety of things to earn a living.I joined the army at sixteen. Left and went to art school.I spent five years as a boat builder.More recently spending time working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. My paintings are a celebration and exploration of the beauty of colour and the human form. Frequently I use dance as a way to narate feeling and a love in my subjects.
